For any of you who watched “Rapid Relief” on CHEK Television on Friday, April 17th, 2020 and saw me performing “What Do I Know”, here is the video again:

And this was the original recorded version from 2000!

For those of you who are interested, here are the lyrics:

They say it’s not the destination

But it’s the journey that we need to grow

Well I’ve been traveling for a lifetime

And I get so tired of this road

So I’ll pull over for a moment

And I’ll kick off these socks and shoes

And it feels so good to let life pass me

To sit with nothing much to do

But enjoy the view

CHORUS:

And maybe I’m almost there

Maybe my time will come

But what if the sky falls in

While I’m searching for the gold?

I mean, what do I know?

I could be headed for the big time

Or straight into some black abyss

There’s no way to cheat and read the ending

So I’ll take my time in light of this

And not worry what I’ve missed

CHORUS:

And maybe I’m almost there

Maybe my time will come

But what if the sky falls in

While I’m searching for the gold?

I mean, what do I know?

BRIDGE:

In some crystal ball I might see something

Get out the runes and tea leaves

Anything could lurk somewhere in the shadows

I mean, what do I know?

LAST CHORUS:

And maybe I’m almost there

Maybe my time will come

But what if the sky falls in

While I’m searching for the gold?

I mean, what do I know?
